The absent-minded confessor

So the deal with me not writing is two-fold. One, every day this week I have been “head on the keyboard” tired when I got home, even though I’ve been leaving at the unsightly early hour of ten. However, I have been getting up between six and six-thirty every day. Initially, it was the body not liking half a day’s difference time-wise, but now it’s become habit. Though ideally I’d like to push this to 5:30, or at least be able to stay awake past 10:45. The other day I fell asleep halfway through the first episode of Fruits Basket, even though I had half a pizza-man and some grapefruit juice left. To my credit though, from what I’ve seen the show is pretty lame, worse than Onegai Sensei. Last night it was just like, “I’m so tired that there is nothing more appealing than sleep right now.” [Not even compounding Skanda ointments in Star Ocean!!]

But I’m getting long-winded. I said me not writing was two-fold. So two, I pulled another me and left all of my plane writings in the PERSON NEXT TO ME on the plane’s computer bag. That’s what I get for rummaging around with “economy-plus” seating on the floor in the dark. Luckily, he was a nice guy and we talked a fair amount. It turns out he is a history professor at ICU. So with my excellent memory and the power of the internet, I used my knowledge that he worked at (using common sense to expand an acronym) International Christian University to locate such a school on the internet, and to further search through the social sciences department faculty photos to find his name (I hadn’t asked). So now since knowledge (and his email address) is/are free, I can go pick it up if I ever stop working. But that will probably be next week, so we’ll all have to wait. Brandon is in Hawaii on his honeymoon anyway, so I don’t have many pictures from the wedding anyway.
