Saiko Trek

For my twenty-eighth birthday I took a three-day voyage to the base of Mt. Fuji in Yamanashi Prefecture. I walked for days, pitched tent at a deserted campground, and wandered through a spell-binding forest popular for suicides. I rode my first horse, ate one of the best meals of my life, finished my third read of The Dharma Bums, and dreamt of Buddhism. I also took some photographs.
