Machine Educator Extraordinare (Intern)

Ichigoichie is a leading developer of independent music video games and data visualization. The directing staff have over fifteen years of console and mobile game development experience, with a specialty in machine learning and signal analysis.

We are building out our internal SDK for audio feature extraction and need help with some educated guesses on how to best have computers visualize music and speech.

Your role at Ichigoichie

We are looking for a student of Computer Science to join our team. We prototype in Python and Typescript and write our core technology libraries in Rust and C++.

A neural-net implementation based on audio spectography is one core segment of our SDK and used for offline analysis of human’s emotional interpretation of music. We are currently investigating optimization methods for the generalization of our training data.

Here are several tangible tasks well-suited for further exploration of the medium: - Musical genre classification - Improvement of training data through introduction of noise - Survey of training method applicability via audio ontology - Visualization of human speech and dialect

For the student, this means an opportunity to investigate the literature as well as application of the discipline in a creative and entertaining field.
